One knew before in a cookbook that is a great recipe to use the pie crust Wesson canola oil for cooking or any other place shortning standard or butter. It turned out wonderfully. I've never been able to find this recipe again. It was a cookbook for seniors, hard cover, red on the outside (which means nothing because they are constantly in motion), but I think, Betty Crocker, Better Homes & Gardens, The Joy of Cooking, but do not know. Has anyone this recipe, please share? Thank you very much.
